Crestwood girls field hockey team shutout host Wyoming Area, 5-0, in a game played on September 9.
Lizzie Dessoye scored a hat trick to lead the lady Comets. Ashleigh Thomas also scored and recorded two assists. Casey Cole scored Crestwood’s first goal of the game.
Dallas Kendra saved 16 for the winners.
Crestwood powered their way past visiting Nanticoke Area, 11-0, on September 11.
In a balanced scoring attack, Daniella Callaghan tallied three goals while Maury Cronauer and Samantha Gerski each scored a goal and had two assists.
Casey Cole added two goals and Hunter Pittman, one, in the win.
The lady Comets had 29 shots on goal, holding Nanticoke to two.
On September 9, Crestwood shutout host Lake-Lehman in WVC soccer.
John Andrews led the Comets with two goals. Kyle Gegaris chipped in one.
Lance Lysiak had two saves for the winners.
Crestwood added another win in WVC action, cruising past visiting Meyers, 7-0, on September 11.
Gegaris powered the Comets’ scoring attack with four goals and as assist. Andrews added a goal and three assists.
Contributing to Crestwood’s final tally were Alex Buccholz and Matt Wimpfheimer.
Lance Lysiak and Curtis Tokach shared the goal keeping chores with seven saves.
Sammy Skonieczki and Andrews led the Crestwood boosters to a 2-1 win over host Tunkhannock on September 13.
Devon Stein had an assist and keeper Lance Lysiah had three saves for the Comets.

Gabby Termini led the lady Comets, scoring two goals and one assist while Olivia Termini chipped in two goals.
Natalie Sulkowski and Alyssa Cuomo also scored.

recoded a 3-0 shutout over host GAR on September 10.
Nicole Jankowski led the lady Comets with 21 service points and 10 aces while Emily Sipple chipped in 11 service points, nine aces and seven assist.
Olivia Jankowski added 11 service points, four aces and 11 assists in the win.

Last week, Crestwood edged Tunkhannock, 169-170, at the par 37-Shadowbrook on September 9.
Joe Hurn was the medalist with a 37 in the dramatic one-stroke win by the Comets.
Billy Dombroski shot a 40 for the Comets followed by Jason Dotzel with 45 and Seth Korch carded 47.
On September 11, Hurn once again captured medalist honors in Crestwood’s 82-97 (5 holes) win over host Berwick
Hurn shot 18, followed by Korch and Dotzel each carded 20 and Dombroski, 24.
