Fishing Derby Planned Oct. 13

“Stock it and they shall be caught” by youngsters 12 and under at the Blytheburn Lake Annual Fishing Derby for Kids.

The Blytheburn Lake Association is stocking the Lake with trout; some as large as 17 inches for this event. The area where the fish are stocked will not be available fishing for 5 days before the derby to assure that children will have a good chance of landing a fish. They have an assortment of prizes for the many categories of fish. It promises to be a fun filled time for all.

Blytheburn Lake is a private lake owned by the Blytheburn Lake Association, a not for profit corporation. This is only one of several events the Association holds for public each year.

The Fishing Derby will be held on October 13 from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be food, drinks and great prizes. For more information call Janeann at 570-868-6895. There is no charge for the children to fish.
