Educational Programs At Nescopeck State Park

Saturday, November 2 Guided Hike:

 Lehigh Gorge State Park 10:30 am  – Meet at the White Haven Library

“Celebrate the Season” at the White Haven Library’s mini-festival. Enjoy a short and easy hike into Lehigh Gorge State Park, taking in the scenery and natural history of this local treasure. Free of Charge.

Tuesday, November 12 Guided Hike:

 Woodland Way Trail  9:00 am –Meet at Nescopeck State Park Office

Celebrate the Veteran’s Day Holiday a day late with an easy 2-mile hike along Woodland Way trail. The trail meanders through the woods and along the shore of a beaver pond. Please wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water. Free of Charge.

Saturday, November 16

Scout  Day  1:00 –3:30 pm –Meet at the Nescopeck State Park Office

Join us during our annual Scout Day for a variety of nature-based activities including a short hike.

*A non-refundable fee of $2/ scout is due at the event. Due to limited space, pre-registration is required. The program is designed for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Tigers, Cubs and Webelos. Scout leaders are responsible for keeping track of any badge requirements their scouts fulfill.
