‘Taking Back Our Streets’ Benefit Nov. 18 At King’s

A “Taking Back Our Streets Rally and Benefit” for drug and crime awareness will be held by HOPESFEST 6 on Monday November 18, 7 p. m. to midnight in the lounge bar at King’s Ristorante. Entertainment is from 7 p. m. to 12p.m. provided by DJ Rick of Amplified Productions. Free admission, donations accepted at door. Cash bar and menu items available from King’s.

There will be a Candlelight vigil at 12:15 p. m. for everyone who lost a loved one due to violence including gang affiliated, guns, or drugs. Donations will benefit the Luzerne County Drug Task Force for their fight against crime and drugs.

The benefit will raise awareness about the current escalating crime climate in Luzerne County. Shon Keiderling is chairing the event to raise public awareness of this growing problem and to make.
