Eckley Miners’ Village Plans Christmas Events
ECKLEY MINERS’ VILLAGE is planning some special activies for the holidays. A Victorian Christmas begins on Saturday, December 7. Shown are Mackenzie Salmonsen, Kingston; April Nafus, Tunkhannock; Mark Kahn, West Wyoming; and Jim Hummer, Hanover.

Eckley Miners’ Village is holding two big events in December. The Children’s Christmas Program will be held Dec 7 & 8 from 1pm to 4pm. Make reservations and celebrate the holiday season with your little ones. Enjoy Christmas stories, crafts, a tour of the historic village, wagon ride and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Suggested ages are 5 to 12. Reservations are required (570-636-2070) and Admission is $10 for Children and $5 for Adults.

The other event is the Victorian Christmas on Dec 7, 8, 14 and 15 from 12 noon to 4pm. Visit the beautifully decorated Sharpe House for a wide variety of homemade Christmas ornaments and gifts. Enjoy tea, hot chocolate and cookies baked by our volunteers.

Bring your camera and take a photo of our Victorian-dressed volunteers! Take part in a Chinese auction, raffle or just purchase your Christmas gifts! Admission is free.
