This season, Damenti’s “Passion of Ice” will feature a 20 ton wedding themed ice chapel and include a stage of giant ice-sculptured swans. “Passion of Ice” will serve as the perfect environment for hosting unique and sociable fundraisers. Each week will be dedicated to a different charity and at the end of each week “Passion of Ice” will donate half of all sales to the dedicated charity. “Passion of Ice” will open on January 3, 2014 and remain open for 10 weeks.
Non-profits offer services to our community that many people would suffer without. The owners’ and staff at Damenti’s are honored to be a part of this effort to keep non-profit organizations open.
“Having had several fundraisers in the past, we realize the potential “Passion of Ice” has to positively impact our community. It’s a win, win situation. We gain exposure; the nonprofi ts get donations. Past experience has proven that this kind of support gets positive attention,” says Kevin McDonald, owner of Damenti’s.
Damenti’s is also asking local businesses to get involved by sponsoring one week of the “Passion of Ice.” Ice sculptures will have the businesses’ names carved into them showcasing their support for this exciting local attraction. WNEP TV will also feature the participating businesses and their charity of choice during their promotions.
Be sure to stop by Damenti’s Ice Bar January 3rd through March 10th to see this year’s works of art while supporting a good cause.
