Scout Sunday January 26 At Emmanuel UCC

This Sunday, January 26, will be Scout Sunday at Emmanuel United Church of Christ. Our church is a meeting place for Cub Scout Pack 433 and Boy Scout Troop 434. These young men will be joining us during our worship service and participating by greeting, serving as acolytes and ushers and reading the Scriptures. This pack is very active in our community and church life. They help with our church clean-up days and are great at helping serve dinners and cleaning up after our annual church dinners in the spring and fall. After our worship service on Sunday, they are hosting a “meet the scouts” coffee hour. Come out and worship with our young scouts and then stick around for some refreshments and to discover more of their projects, values and beliefs.

On Sunday mornings, we start with Sunday School at 9:00 am for group time and then divide up for lessons, games and crafts. We then meet at 10:30 am for Worship Service. On January 26, our greeters will be members of our Scout packs. Come, join us for worship this Sunday. We welcome everyone into our Father’s house.
