MARDI GRAS BALL AND ART AUCTION AT ST. JUDE’S

MARDI GRAS BALL AND ART AUCTION AT ST. JUDE’S-The annual art auction held at St. Jude School will be held on Saturday, February 22 in the school cafeteria. The theme for the evening will be a Masquerade Mardi Gras Ball. Framed prints of famous artists will be featured in watercolor, oil, and pastels. A wide range of prices will be available. Class artwork will also be auctioned. The art preview begins at 6 p. m. followed by the auction at 7 p. m. Complimentary wine, cheese, and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Local cooking show host Chef Kate will help celebrate with a famous New Orleans Bananas Foster dessert. The Penn Dixie Band will be playing Dixieland jazz and blues. Admission is $25 per person, $40 per couple. The public is invited. Festive attire is welcome. Advance tickets may be purchased through the school by calling 570-474-5803 or on the night of the event.
