Shick Earns 4.0 At University Of Richmond

Amy M. Shick, Mountain Top, has been notified by the University of Richmond that she has earned Dean’s List distinction in recognition of her outstanding scholarship for the 2013 fall semester. Additionally, she was honored with the “All A’s” distinction.

Shick is a double major in Accounting and Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics. The University of Richmond, founded in 1830 is a private, highly selective, liberal arts university.

Shick is the Vice President of Service for the University of Richmond’s Omicron Phi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. APO is a national coeducational service fraternity founded on the cardinal principles of leadership, friendship and service. It provides its members the opportunity to develop leadership skills as they provide service to their campus, to youth and the community, to the nation, and to members of the Fraternity.

Amy M. Shick is the daughter of Lucy and Brad Shick of Mountain Top. She is a 2012 honor graduate of Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston. Shick was one of the recipients of the Women’s Club of Mountain Top 2012 scholarship awards.
