Crestwood Varsity Icemen Ride Five Seniors To Win Over Holy Redeemer
VARSITY SENIORS HONORED-The Crestwood varsity ice hockey team honored its senior members who provided leadership throughout the season. Shown are seniors Tom Armstrong, Rich Gawel, Damian Feschuk, Max Kusher, and Jon Zirnheld.

Crestwood Varsity Ice Hockey honored it’s five graduating seniors prior to their game against Holy Redeemer and then watched as their 4 varsity skaters each scored and the fifth kept the Royals off the scoreboard in a 12 –0 victory. Crestwood finishes the regular season in first place in the NEPASHL with 11 wins, 1 loss, and 2 ties.

Senior Damian Feschuk led the senior on slaught with 3 goals and 1 assist. Senior Rich Gawel had 2 goals and 2 assists. Senior Tom Armstrong had 1 goal and 3 assists and Senior Jon Zirnheld had 1 goal and 1 assist. Senior Max Kusher made 7 saves in the Comet net to earn the shut out.

Other contributors for the Varsity Ice Men were Stefan Krupski with 2 goals and 4 assists, Tanner Kahlau with 3 goals and 1 assist, Josh Edwards with 1 goal and 1 assist, and Brandon Moran and John Stewart with 1 assist each.

The Crestwood Varsity Ice Men are coached by Paul Eyerman, Bill Davis, Bo Bobynskyj. And Jim Edwards. The Varsity Ice Men start the playoffs on Friday night, February 21 at 9:30 pm at the Coal Street Ice Rink against the Paupack Bucks.
