Crestwood JV Ice Hockey Team Wins First Round Of Playoffs
CRESTWOOD WINS PLAYOFF GAME-No. 17 Shane Angle out skates his opponent during Crestwood’s JV hockey playoff game on February 14th.

Crestwood JV Ice Hockey Team faced off against Pittston on February 14th at Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston. No. 65 Patrick Brennan got the scoring going in the first period with an assisted goal with No. 40 Jeremy Hannon. No. 17 Shane Angle, assisted by No. 28 Matthew Dopp, also scored in the first period. Pittston answered with a goal of their own before the period was over. The second period continued

with Crestwood’s scoring with a goal by No. 44 Matthieu Lacoste, assisted by Matthew Dopp. The third period began with Crestwood up 3-1. Pittston came back to score two more goals in the period. With the score tied Shane Angle scored an unassisted goal with 19 seconds left in the period. Crestwood defeated Pittston 4-3. The goal was tended by No. 50 Reed Karaska and the team had 25 shots on goal. The team is led by head coach Carl Karaska, assisted by Frank Govan and Bill Ziegler.
