ST. JUDE SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVE RECONCILIATION

ST. JUDE SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVE RECONCILIATION-Twenty-two students at St. Jude School recently received the Sacrament of Reconciliation at a special service held in St. Jude Church. Several visiting priests along with Rev. Joseph Evanko, Pastor, and Rev. Jerry Shantillo, Assistant Pastor, assisted the students with their first confession. The students wore a “broken heart” necklace from their Reconciliation retreat. After their confession, they gave their “broken heart” to the priest and they were presented with a new heart that said “Forgiven”. The petitions and readings were delivered by the students. A reception was held in the school cafeteria following the service.
