Mountaintop Students Awarded Scholarships

Three Mountaintop area students have been awarded scholarships to attend Alvernia University this fall:

Gregory Pirolli has been granted the $16,000 Presidential Scholarship to study at Alvernia University. Pirolli is a senior at Commonwealth Connections Academy.

Rebecca Price has been granted the $16,000 Presidential Scholarship to study Occupational Therapy at Alvernia University. Price is a senior at Crestwood Junior-Senior High School.

Sara Hagen has been granted the $12,000 Veronica Founder’s Scholarship to study Nursing at Alvernia University. Hagen is a senior at Crestwood High School.

Nearly 150 high school merit scholarship winners attended Alvernia’s annual Scholarship Luncheon on Feb. 22 with their parents.
