ST. JUDE’S STUDENTS FOCUS ON LIVES OF SAINTS

ST. JUDE’S STUDENTS FOCUS ON LIVES OF SAINTS-Second and third grade students at St. Jude School recently focused on the lives of saints, choosing to report on either their patron or favorite saint. Students were to conduct research and discover where the saint was from, when the saint lived, what the special symbol is for that saint, the feast day, and the details which lead to sainthood. Oral presentations were given. Familiar saints included Saints Francis of Assisi, Hillary, Elizabeth Ann Seton, Katherine Drexel, Peter, Patrick, David, and Robert Bellarmine. Shown kneeling from left: Mary Kate Banford, Lauren Lokuta, Kesi Wambold, and Abe Hagenbuch. Back: Noah Billig, Justin Miller, Shreya Rupareliya, Francesca Basalyga, and Bobby Shafer.
